Overview
A butterfly valve, also known as a flap valve, is a valve with a simple structure. It features a disc-shaped closing element (valve disc or butterfly plate) that rotates around the valve shaft; by rotating the disc-shaped closing element back and forth approximately 90°, the valve opens, closes, or regulates the flow of the medium. It is used for shutting off, isolating, and controlling the flow of media in low-pressure pipelines, as well as for flow regulation.
BosDer brand self-controlled butterfly valves are new products developed by integrating domestic and international technologies. Based on the actual operational needs at the customer’s site, users can select either a high-performance BosDer pneumatic actuator or an electric actuator. This enables the valve to receive system commands for automatic opening, closing, and regulating operations, thereby achieving remote control of the flow of media through the on-site piping system.
Product Benefits
It offers advantages such as a simple structure, compact size, light weight, low material consumption, small installation dimensions, rapid switching, and low torque required for 90° reciprocating rotation.
