BSW-M09 Series Solenoid Valves

Overview
The housing of the BSW-M09 series solenoid valves is die-cast from aluminum alloy and can withstand the mechanical strength and static pressure tests specified in national standards and the technical specifications for this product. The exterior surface is powder-coated, and the interior surface is coated with 1321# arc-resistant paint. The terminal block is manufactured from 4220# melamine-asbestos arc-resistant plastic. The creepage distance and electrical clearance comply with the relevant standards. The cable entry device uses an explosion-proof stuffing box filled with IRHD45-55 rubber. The product’s overall protection rating is IP66, meeting customer requirements.
Purpose and Scope of Application
This series of flameproof solenoid valves (hereinafter referred to as “solenoid valves”) complies with the national standards GB 3836.1-2010 “Explosive Atmospheres—Part 1: Equipment—General Requirements” , GB 3836.2-2010 “Explosive Atmospheres—Part 2: Equipment Protected by Flameproof Enclosures ‘d’,” GB 12476.1-2013 “Electrical Equipment for Use in Environments with Combustible Dust—Part 1: General Requirements,” and GB 12476.5-2013 “Electrical Equipment for Use in Environments with Combustible Dust—Part 5: Enclosure Protection Type ‘tD’,” and have been inspected and approved by a nationally designated inspection body. The explosion-proof marking is ExdⅡCT6 Gb/Ex tDA21 IP66 T80℃. Suitable for use in factory and industrial environments containing Class IIA to IIC, Groups T1–T6.
Storage and Transportation
1. Solenoid valves should be stored in a well-ventilated warehouse.
2. Protect the product from rain and severe vibrations during transport.

Installation Instructions

Installation and Usage Precautions
1. Solenoid valves can operate reliably in the following environments:
a. Elevation does not exceed 2,000 meters;
b. Ambient temperature ranges from -20°C to +40°C;
c. The average relative humidity of the ambient air is ≤95% (+25°C);
d. In areas where explosive mixtures of flammable gases or vapors in Zones 1 and 2 of Groups IIA–IIC and T1–T6 with air are present, as well as in areas where flammable
Zone 21 and Zone 22 explosive atmospheres formed by the mixture of combustible dust and air;
e. In an environment free of corrosive substances that could damage the insulation;
f. In a location free from significant shaking and shock vibrations;
g. Areas where water splashes or drips;
h. Areas where there are no gases or vapors known to significantly degrade electrical insulation;
i. Pollution Level: Level 3;
j. Installation category: Class II;
2. Before installation, check the nameplate, specifications, and explosion-proof type to ensure they meet the requirements.
3. Under no circumstances should the cover be opened while the unit is energized prior to installation. After installation, verify that the creepage distance and electrical clearance meet the requirements.
4. The outer diameter of the incoming rubber cable must match the inner diameter of the inlet rubber seal to ensure a reliable, tight seal.
5. The solenoid valve is equipped with internal and external grounding terminals; it must be reliably grounded during installation “〨”.
6. When making connections, ensure they are securely fastened; there must be no loose wires sticking out to prevent electrical discharge.
7. The power must be turned off before opening the cover. “Never open the cover while the power is on.”
8. During installation and maintenance, take care to ensure that the flameproof surfaces remain undamaged, and apply rust-preventive oil.
